Madeira Viewpoints

Thanks to the beauty and diversity of its landscape, Madeira can boast of numerous viewpoints. They are open windows to stunning views over the sea or mountains that you will not want to miss.

Among the most visited sites are

• the Cabo Girão Viewpoint
• the Eira do Serrado Viewpoint
• the Pico dos Barcelos Viewpoint
• the Cristo Rei (Garajau) Viewpoint
• the "Véu da Noiva" Viewpoint
• the Pico Ruivo Viewpoint
• the Pico do Areeiro Viewpoint

It should be noted that the viewpoints of Pico Ruivo and Pico do Areeiro are 1862m and 1818m peaks, respectively.

There are also beautiful viewpoints in Porto Santo, even though the landscape is more arid than in Madeira. Discover this smaller island and enjoy its most enchanting views from viewpoints such as Portela, Ana Ferreira, Pico do Castelo, Juliana, Gandaia, Flores and Fonte da Areia.
